AllSkate ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AllSkate mobile application and web app (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional profile photo. You may also sign in with Apple or Google, in which case we receive basic profile information from those providers.
Skateboarding data. We collect information you provide while using the app, including trick logs, match scores, play-by-play entries, session data, and timestamps.
Location data. When you create or view skate spots, we collect GPS coordinates. Location access is requested only when needed and is not tracked in the background.
Camera and media. With your permission, the app accesses your device camera for recording match video, capturing trick timestamps (MARK button), and taking screenshots. Recorded videos and photos are uploaded to our content delivery network for storage and playback.
Device information. We collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostics and compatibility.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To display your trick logs, match results, and skater profiles
- To enable sharing of clips, highlights, and match content
- To generate video clips from recorded match footage
- To improve and optimize the Service

3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:
- Public content. Match results, skater profiles, and shared clips may be visible to other users of the Service.
- Service providers. We use third-party services to host and deliver content, including cloud storage and content delivery networks.
- Authentication providers. If you sign in with Apple or Google, those providers process your authentication data under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Video and media content is delivered through a content delivery network (CDN) for fast playback. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Match footage and clips are retained as long as the content owner's account is active.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
